Dawnfolk Returns to Its Original Name: Lueur and the Dim Settlers

A return to (extremely dim) roots

April 1, 2025 – Los Angeles, CA – After much reflection (and absolutely no external pressure), we’re thrilled to announce that Dawnfolk will officially be returning to its original name: Lueur and the Dim Settlers.

While Dawnfolk was a fine name, we felt it lacked a certain… je ne sais quoi. And what better way to celebrate our community than by embracing a title that truly captures the essence of the game: a radiant little light and some very, very questionable decision-making by its inhabitants.

This change will roll out someday maybe, bringing back all the nostalgia of the early development days. Players can expect the same minimalist survival city-building experience—now with 100% more syllables.
